At CapWrights, we are committed to providing clear, transparent, and reliable information about our shipping process. This Shipping Policy explains how shipping works and what you can expect after placing an order with us.

CapWrights is an online retailer specializing in flat caps and newsboy caps. Orders are shipped directly to customers throughout all states of the United States.


1. Shipping Area and Shipping Costs

We ship to all states within the United States.

Free standard shipping applies to all orders.

All shipping and handling costs are fully covered by CapWrights.


2. Order Processing and Delivery Time (Estimated)

All timeframes listed below are estimates and are stated in business days (Monday through Friday), excluding public holidays.

2.1 After Placing Your Order

  • You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after placing your order.
  • Your payment is processed securely and promptly.

2.2 Order Processing

  • Processing time: 1–3 business days
  • Your order is carefully prepared and packaged for shipment.

2.3 Shipping Transit Time

  • Average transit time: 8–12 business days
  • In some cases, delivery may take longer due to external factors such as customs inspections, weather conditions, or carrier delays.

3. Shipping Date (“Ships By”)

The “Ships By” date indicates when your order leaves our fulfillment process and is handed over to the shipping carrier. This is not a delivery date.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number.


4. Tracking and Delivery

  • Tracking information typically becomes active within 24–72 hours after shipment.
  • For certain shipments, tracking updates may be limited or delayed during parts of the delivery process.
  • Delivery is considered complete when the tracking status shows “Delivered” to the address provided at checkout.

Orders are processed automatically after placement and cannot be modified.

Because orders are processed quickly, cancellations are generally not possible.

Once an order has been placed, particularly after processing or shipment has begun, it cannot be canceled. In such cases, CapWrights’ return policy applies.


7. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

In some cases, customs authorities or shipping carriers may apply import duties, taxes, or administrative fees.

Any such charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient.


8. Delayed, Lost, or Damaged Shipments

Delayed Delivery

A shipment is considered delayed if it has not been delivered more than 20 business days after shipment.

In such cases, we will investigate the issue and, where applicable, provide a replacement product.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging are required.

If the claim is approved, a replacement product will be shipped.

Marked as Delivered but Not Received

  • Please first check with neighbors, household members, or the delivery location.
  • Report the issue within 3 days of the “Delivered” status.

We will contact the carrier and initiate an investigation.
Once a shipment is marked as “Delivered,” it is considered delivered to the address provided.


9. Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Orders that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address are not eligible for replacement or refund. Any additional costs for reshipment may be charged to the customer.
